Dear Mother

“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.” Steve Maraboli

As mothers, we have surrendered our bodies to something greater than ourselves. We give ourselves to a life. Our bodies become devoted to the creation of this life, while they are within you, while they are nourished from you, carried by you, held by you, and loved intensely by every molecule of you.

Be kind to yourself, dear mother. Accept yourself. Embrace the imperfections, for they are of the truest form of you. Do not speak hurtful words to yourself, for your body has endured the creation of life.
